COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email
       Within 7 business days
We will notify the users via in-site notification
       Within 7 business days

We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

Public domain

Public domain

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The public domain is the body of creative works and other knowledge--writing, artwork, music, science, inventions, and others--in which no person or organization has any proprietary interest (typically a government-granted monopoly such as a copyright or patent). Such works and inventions are considered part of the public's cultural heritage, and anyone can use and build upon them without restriction (not taking into account laws concerning safety, export, etc).

The reason for a public domain

The concept of the public domain was created by governments by applying previous legal concepts to creative work (e.g.: the commons, the village green). While copyright was created to protect the financial incentive of those doing creative work as a means to encourage more creative work, the public domain grants the public the right to use and reuse the creative work of others without financial or social burden.

Absence of legal protection

Creative works are in the public domain wherever no law exists to establish proprietary rights, or where the subject matter is specifically excluded from existing laws. For example, most mathematical formulas are not subject to copyrights or patents in most of the world. Likewise, works that were created long before such laws were passed are part of the public domain, such as the works of William Shakespeare and Ludwig van Beethoven and the inventions of Aristotle.

Expiration

Most copyrights and patents have a finite term; when it expires, the work or invention falls into the public domain. In most of the world, patents expire 20 years after they are filed. Trademarks expire soon after the mark becomes a generic term. Copyrights are more complex; generally, they expire worldwide when all of the following conditions are satisfied:

The work was created and first published before January 1, 1923, or at least 95 years before January 1 of the current year, whichever is later.

The last surviving author died at least 70 years before January 1 of the current year.

No Berne Convention signatory has passed a perpetual copyright on the work.

Neither the United States nor the European Union has passed a copyright term extension since these conditions were last updated. (This must be a condition because the exact numbers in the other conditions depend on the state of the law at any given moment.)

These conditions are based on the intersection of United States and European Union copyright law, which most other Berne Convention signatories recognize. Note that copyright term extension under U.S. tradition does not restore copyright to PD works (hence the 1923 date), but European tradition does because the 1996 harmonization was based on the copyright term in Germany, which had already been extended to life plus 70. Note further that works created by a United States government agency fall into PD at the moment of creation.

Examples of inventions whose patents have expired include the inventions of Thomas Edison. Examples of works whose copyrights have expired include the works of Carlo Collodi and most of the works of Mark Twain. Examples of works under a statutory perpetual copyright include many of the Peter Pan works by J. M. Barrie. Note that works of The Walt Disney Company are not under statutory perpetual copyright on paper because the United States Constitution requires copyrights to last 'for limited Times' (Article I, section 8, clause 8), but Disney routinely provides millions of U.S. dollars of campaign money to legislators in exchange for copyright term extensions.

Disclaimer of interest

An author or inventor can explicitly disclaim any proprietary interest in the work, granting it to the public domain. Because copyright applies by default to all works, authors must do this explicitly. On the other hand, publishing the details of an invention before applying for a patent may place an invention in the public domain. For example, once a journal publishes a mathematical formula, it may no longer be used as the core of a claim in a software patent.

Ineligibility

Laws may make some types of works and inventions ineligible for monopoly; such works immediately enter the public domain upon publication. For example, US copyright law releases all works created by the US government into the public domain, patent law excludes inventions that obviously follow from prior art, and agreements that Germany signed at the end of World War I released such trademarks as 'aspirin' and 'heroin' into the public domain in many areas.

Licensing

Note that there are many works that are not part of the public domain, but for which the owner of some proprietary rights has chosen not to enforce those rights, or to grant some subset of those rights to the public. See, for example, the Free Software Foundation which creates copyrighted software and licenses it without charge to the public for most uses under a class of license called 'copyleft', forbidding only proprietary redistribution. See also Wikipedia, which does much the same thing with its content under the GNU Free Documentation License. Sometimes such work is mistakenly referred to as 'public domain' in colloquial speech.

Note also that while some works (especially musical works) may be in the public domain, U.S. law considers transcriptions or performances of those works to be derivative works, potentially subject to their own copyrights. For more details (or for public domain transcriptions of public domain works).

The role in the society

'This public domain however is important as a provider of raw material to future creators.'

Jasher 3:17 And it was in the year of Adam's death which was the two hundred and forty-third year of the reign of Enoch, in that time Enoch resolved to separate himself from the sons of men and to secret himself as at first in order to serve the Lord.

*7 In The Second Book of Adam and Eve (chapter 21) we can read that Enoch was present at the burial of his father Jared. When Jared died Enoch was already 900 years old, so the lifetime of Enoch on Earth as mentioned in the Bible (365) is wrong. Enoch died 14 years after Jared's dead, so Enoch's total lifetime was 914 years. (for more details see chapter 4) In Jasher Enoch was born 522 AM and in the Bible 622 AM , a difference of 100 years.

Genesis 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech. Jasher 3:13 And these are the generations of Enoch, Methuselah, Elisha, and Elimelech, three sons; and their sisters were Melca and Nahmah, and Methuselah lived eighty-seven years and he begat Lamech. Jasher 5:36 And it was at that time Methuselah the son of Enoch died, nine hundred and sixty years old was he, at his death.

*8 In Jasher Methuselah was 87 years old when Lamech was born, if that is correct we have a problem with his year of dead because in that case he would have survived the "Great Flood" with 93 years (1547-1454). The conclusion can be made that the Biblical year by firstborn son of 187 years is correct.  In Jasher Methuselah  was born 587 AM and in the Bible 687 AM, a difference of 100 years.

Genesis 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son (Noah): Jasher 4:11 And Lamech was one hundred and eighty years old when he took Ashmua, the daughter of Elishaa the son of Enoch his uncle, and she conceived. Jasher 4:13 And the wife of Lamech conceived and bare him a son at that time, at the revolution of the year. Jasher 4:14 And Methuselah called his name Noah, saying, The earth was in his days at rest and free from corruption, and Lamech his father called his name Menachem, saying, This one shall comfort us in our works and miserable toil in the earth, which God had cursed. Jasher 5:19 And Lamech the father of Noah, died in those days; yet verily he did not go with all his heart in the ways of his father, and he died in the hundred and ninety-fifth year of the life of Noah. 20 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy years, and he died.

*9 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1544-195=1349), a difference of 102 (+293) years, total 395 years.

Genesis 7:6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

The "Great Flood" took place in the six hundredth year of Noah.

Jasher 5:5 And all who followed the Lord died in those days, before they saw the evil which God declared to do upon earth. 6 And after the lapse of many years, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the life of Noah, when all those men, who followed the Lord had died away from amongst the sons of men, and only Methuselah was then left. Jasher: 5.8 For thus saith the Lord, Behold I give you a period of one hundred and twenty years; if you will turn to me and forsake your evil ways, then will I also turn away from the evil which I told you, and it shall not exist, saith the Lord.

*10 Lamech died 10 years before the "Great Flood".

Genesis 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 9:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. Jasher 5:18 And Noah was five hundred and two years old when Naamah bare Shem, and the boys grew up and went in the ways of the Lord, in all that Methuselah and Noah their father taught them. Jasher 5:34 In his five hundred and ninety-fifth year Noah commenced to make the ark, and he made the ark in five years, as the Lord had commanded.

Genesis 11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: Jasher 28:24 And it came to pass in those days, in the hundred and tenth year of the life of Isaac, that is in the fiftieth year of the life of Jacob, in that year died Shem the son of Noah; Shem was six hundred years old at his death.

*1 In acc. to the Sumerian King list Adam ruled for 162,000 years, when we divide it with 36 we come to a rule time of 4,500 years. When we compare this with the Biblical lifetime of Adam his Creation should have taken place in 7,504 BC (3074+4500) and NOT in 4004 BC (the Jewish date of Creation). The time Adam and Eve lived in the :Garden of Eden" than must have been 7504-4004 = 3,500 Biblical years and 126,000 Sumerian years. The attended reader has already seen that there is a difference between the Biblical, 1,000 years (Aeon?) and the Sumerian 36,000 years. (see later chapter 12)

See Jubilees Chapter 8: In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, (1373 AM) in the beginning thereof Arpachshad took to himself a wife and her name was Rasu'eja, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she bare him a son in the third year in this week, (1375 AM) and he called his name Kainam. And the son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city. And he found a writing which former (generations) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and stars in all the signs of heaven. And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it. And in the thirtieth jubilee, in the second week, in the first year thereof (1429 AM), he took to himself a wife, and her name was Melka, the daughter of Madai, the son of Japheth, and in the fourth year (1432 AM) he begat a son, and called his name Shelah; for he said: 'Truly I have been sent.' (And in the fourth year he was born), and Shelah grew up and took to himself a wife, and her name was Mu'ak, the daughter of Kesed, his father's brother, in the one and thirtieth jubilee, in the fifth week, in the first year (1499 AM) thereof.

)1 In the book of Jasher Esau is murdered by a son of Dan but in the book of Jubilees Esau is murdered by his brother Jacob. The Bible do not mention the dead of Esau.

The Revised Timeline  match exactly with the story, in years and lifetime, mentioned in the book of Jasher when we insert Cainam, who is only mentioned in Jubilees 8. In the conventional "Biblical timeline" of Archbishop James Ussher there is a decreased difference of 60 years. (in fact 58 years because he used two times 1 year when calculating the year in which Terah and Serug died). With other words "the fifteenth years = not +15 but +14 years and "the thirty-fifth year" = not 35 but 34 years.

When we calculate the year of Nimrod's dead we know that Esau was 15 years old when he murdered Nimrod, Esau was born in 1838 and Nimrod was 215 years when he died. A simple calculation brings us tot the year of his dead as 1838-15=1823 BC. Nimrod was thus born in 1823+215 = 2038 BC. He was king from 2008 to 1823 BC. (2038-30).
